Could someone please give me a warm-up technique for my singing?

I don't have a vocal coach at this moment, and I really need a warm-up technique before I sing. So could someone plz help me with this issue?

go with a 3 chord scales - start from your medium-low octave range to med-high range and go from there. To higher then lower - gradually untill you peak at high and low range- try short torts like sticatto bursts all the way to drawn out operatic shrills....

Reply:One thing i like to do is just sing scales up and down it really just gets your voice ready but you can also sing scales and then try to hold the highest note you can or the highest note in your song ok good luck
Reply:Simple exercise from voice lessons at Utah State University way back when: Sing 5-note scales, one step higher each time, singing "ha ha ha ha ha" for each note. Also place one hand over your abdomen to feel and become more aware of the air pushing up through your abdominal muscles/diaphragm. This was my favorite exercise because it's easy, and it gets your mouth in the right shape to sing. Plus the 'laughing' relaxes you more before a performance. If you have a piano that is best to get the scales on key, unless you have perfect pitch.
