Question!!Has your husband, partner, secret lover or a secret admirer ever phoned you up and sang to you ?

Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone.

Let's pretend that we're together, all alone.

I'll tell the man to turn the juke box way down low,

And you can tell your friend there with you he'll have to go.

Whisper to me, tell me do you love me true,

Or is he holding you the way I do?

Tho' love is blind, make up your mind, I've got to know,

Should I hang up, or will you tell him he'll have to go?

You can't say the words I want to hear

While you're with another man,

If you want me, answer "yes" or "no,"

Darling, I will understand.

He sure does. Sometimes when he does not reach me by the cell phone, he will leave me a voice message, singing Kenny Chesney's "I Will Stand, or "You Had Me From Hello."
Reply:Yes he has, but nothing that beautiful, and his singing voice isn't as good as he thinks.
Reply:Yes, but at 6.00 a.m. my Turkish isn't too good, so it's a bit of a wast really. Still, I love him for it!
Reply:No, he never has. Should someone do that though, I'm outta here.
Reply:No, he doesn't sing to me at all but my heart sings when he touches my cheek or touches my hand. Does that count?
Reply:Yes...and I put the phone down until hes done.

He sangs horrible.

In the shower too.
Reply:many times i have sang that to my dear departed wife.

welcome to my world
Reply:I'm the singer in the family...no, really -- I have a master's degree in vocal performance...

my husband never sings to me.

But a few years ago, and old boyfriend emailed me a poem he had written for me.

I felt I should delete it.

Edit@bottle -o-scotch: Sorry for your loss.
Reply:A lovely sweet rich voice
Reply:Jim Reeves could make you want to stay on the phone all day.
Reply:He sings to me as we go down the road, he isn't too bad.
Reply:I wish that special guy would sing that to me. I love that song. I can hear the juke box playing it now.........(sigh).....
Reply:Thank you for reminding me.
Reply:i did once sing down the phone to my partner to which at the end of my rendition of "islands in the steam" i heard a mans voice ask who i was, misdialled the number
Reply:I like to hear my husband whistle a tune while

he does chores around the house and yard.
Reply:It breaks my heart that Gentleman Jim is gone. His voice is the voice of my youth.
Reply:No but i do to him all the time.
Reply:no but he sings to me all the time when wer together!
Reply:No - but at my request. The one and only time I heard him sing was when he was standing next to me at our wedding ceremony. I had no idea what he was throttling with his less than dulcit tones, but it certainly wasn't the graceful and beautiful hymn the rest of us were warbling! So I had a pre-nup built in - "In the event of this ceremony continuing to completion, no singing from this day forward - miming only allowed." He hummed his way through the rest of our marriage - off key of course, but a lot more tolerable.
