Were there any blacks singing or playing back up on Lynard Skynard's original recording of Sweet Home Alabama?

Why does it matter? This sounds like the come on to a racist question...
Were there any blacks singing or playing back up on Lynard Skynard's original recording of Sweet Home Alabama?
NO. Cassie Gaines(sister of one of the original band members) and the band itself did the back up vocals.


Why did that plane have to crash? the sound of skynard hasn't been the same since, even though its done by Ronny's brothers Donny(.38 Special), and Johnny Van Zandt with occasionally the survivors of the crash.


Best tribute to date: the surviving band members( dont remember the name of the group though) recorded in late 1980
Reply:I doubt it, I saw them in Ar. and it was quite the southern pride fest, kinda freaked me out.
