Whatever hapened to garth brooks is he singing now or has he given up?

Not to worry....Garth is still singing.





Despite being semi-retired from the business, he continues to record and perform.


He just finished nine consecutive sold out shows at the Sprint Center in Kansas City (November 2 thru November 14)





He also has released "The Ultimate Hits" a new 3-disc set that contains 30 classics, 3 new songs and a bonus track. The set also includes a DVD with videos for all 34 songs including new and never before seen footage.





BTW:


The Great American Country (GAC) television network is airing Garth's Kansas City concert.

I saw him on oprah with his new wife and i think he has semi retired he had a new album come out but is no longer doing tours and things is what he said
Reply:I know!! It is kinda wierd! He says he is retired, but he is making new songs- that are big hits- "More than A Memory" is on its way to Number 1 on the charts. I just don't get it.

Reply:He is taking a break to raise his kids, when they are grown he will be back touring. He has a new song out now, but as for the tour don't count on it.
Reply:he has retired to be with his new wife trisha yearwood, i from Oklahoma and am not to far from where Garth is from (a town called Yukon) anyway they have been advertising on the radio he is going to do 8 shows after the first of the year and for some weird reason all 8 of the shows will be in kansas city, no other towns, and thats all the shows he will be doing next year

Reply:What has Happened to Garth Brooks I think is the Smartest thing anyone who got as Big and as Popular as he did could ever do. He did decide to get away for awhile and spend the time with his Children and enjoy some of the Things he did make possible in his life. HE IS NOT DONE!! During this time, he probably has put together alot of new Music so when he does come back OUT, he will be READY to go as far as he wants to!!

Reply:He took a break to spend time with his daughters as they grew up. He has a song or two out and is working on a cd. He just put his family over music which sad as it is to miss his songs, gives him major props in my book. I think he'll be back. I mean look at all the other male singers out there, that have been out there forever...heck Eagles put out a cd for first time in like over a decade!
