What "rendition" of the Star Spangled Banner was the Yale barbershop group singing before they got beat up?

The yahoo story doesn't got into detail on what so angered dozens of people that they would ambush and pommel the singing group when they left. They interviewed a singer named Aziz. I can just imagine how they changed the words. Maybe they deserved to be taught a lesson.

Perhaps they tried to pull off a Borat.
Reply:They didn't get beat up because they were singing the SSB. They were beat up because they looked *****. Read here...

Reply:All male glee club singers deserve to be beaten.
Reply:There's NO reason for ANYONE to get beat up for ANYTHING!
Reply:It probably wasn't the song that got everyone mad...or it wasn't anyTHING that got anyone mad...some people in the audience were just looking for an opportunity to cause trouble.
Reply:I read the same article and you're right...there was no indication why the group was attacked. I hope someone will shed some light on this. Leave it to the "enlightened press" to omit a key ingredient of a story, namely the circumstances surrounding a reportable event.
