Who sings the oldie song that says, "that's why i'm leaving it up to you"?
That would be Dale and Grace from 1963. I have the old record. This is an example of the legendary "New Orleans" sound which was pioneered by the likes of Fats Domino in 1949 and Lloyd Price and Shirley and Lee in 1952.

This tune was originally done by Don and Dewey ca. 1955.

Dale and Grace were a like a white version of Shirley and Lee, fellow Louisianans, to whom they sound very similar.

Dale passed away in 2007, and Grace is now 69 years old.
Reply:I think it was a couple named Dale and Grace. And I loved the song, it came out in around 1962.Here is the complete song.

Reply: Marie Osmond also did a remake.
